Kim Stravers

Kim has been renting various igloos in Mammoth Lakes since 2005. In a previous life she played everything from proofreader to managing editor for a handful of shred mags, including Powder, Bike, and SG: Surf, Snow, Skate Girl, and continues to contribute her personal flair to books, grant applications, scripts, Web sites, marketing collateral, and on-screen graphics for live TV. Kim co-founded the Mammoth Lakes Trails and Public Access Foundation, a local nonprofit, in 2006, and currently acts as its Development & Community Relations Director. When she’s not adding to her collection of recreation-related bruises, she’s either putting her KitchenAid to good use, fussing over her kitten, lifting heavy things in sets of 10, or working on projects for her writing and editing company, The TypeRighter. She likes to dance to the rap jams.
